Visst har du sett honom, han är lurvigt brun och fyrkantig som ett kylskåp med ett stort rött gap. Den märkliga japanska karaktären Domo-kun, skapad av Tsuneo Goda, debuterade som maskot i korta stop-motion snuttar i japanska tvkanalen NHK 1999 och har sedan dess lyckats nå kultstatus. Domo-kun är en märklig varelse, han kläcktes ur ett ägg och bor i en grotta med pensionerade kaninen Usaji och diverse skogsdjur där de mest kollar på tv, äter och fjärtar (Domo fjärtar). Sedan 2006 har Domo-kun även invaderat US och "väst" i form av filmsnuttar, gossedjur, t-shirts och annat, nu i september släpps hans första manga i amerikanska butiker, Domo the manga (helt i färg!). The strange Japanese character Domo-kun, created by Tsuneo Goda, made his mascot debute in short stop-motion clips for the Japanese tv channel NHK in 1999 and have since then already reached cultstatus. Domo-kun is indeed a odd creature, he hatched from an egg and live in a cave with the retired rabbit Usaji and several other forrest animals where they mostly spend their time watching tv, eating and farting (Domo is the one farting). Since 2006 Domo-kun has invaded US and "the west" in several short clips, as plush toys, t-shirts and other stuff, now in September his own first manga, Domo the manga (in full color!) is released in American stores!
